May 3 Due Date

The Information Appliance project will be due at 5 pm on May 3.  You need to put your assignment into the DGC 2170 folder on the "O" drive on the 9th floor of FSC.  I would like to have your SWF and your FLA files together.

I will be available for assistance from Tuesday of next week.  Please send me a message so that we can set up a time to work out any problems you may be having with your project.

Remember, you want to produce the best possible product so that you can include it in your portfolio.

MTR Examples with Comments

I have posted most of the MTR examples from the O drive on the web.  You can click the link in the title above or go to http://www.coms.hkbu.edu.hk/williams/demos/mtrExamples/index.html

The advantage of this is that there are comments with each of the Information Applications.  There are positive and negative comments with each application so that you can see what is good and not so good about each of them.  This should be very helpful as you plan your own information application.

Tomorrow we will look at some of these and I will also show you the basic action script you will need to make your information appliances work.
